Story of the Dave and Busters Journey

Jim was driving with his friends to Dave and Busters in Canada but had encountered one major problem when the car had run out of gas. Jim and his friends tried to push the car off of the highway but they were holding up so many cars, and the drivers were becoming very angry. All that was heard was the honking of cars and the screaming of angry people. Luckily, a nice group of boys had gotten out of their car, from a half a mile away, and walked to see what the hold up was. They realized what had happened and they helped to push it off the highway. Jim and his friends all left their phone at home so they were not able to call anyone for help. However, the nice man had lent Jim a phone to call a pickup truck. It had taken awhile for the pickup truck to arrive because of the slowed traffic. When he got there he gave the group of boys some gas to put into the car tank so that they could continue on their journey.

One Unusual Thing I Did This Weekend

One unusual thing that I did this weekend was hangout with my best friends. The reason it is unusual is because my best friend Mariya is always grounded, therefore making it hard to spend time together. The reason I usually do not get to hangout with my other best friends is because they are busy involved in sports. But this weekend it was special because we were all able to go to the movies and watch the movie "Catching Fire." After watching the movie at the movie theaters we went to the store and rented more movies and bought a lot of candy, and then came to my house. We ate things like Twizzlers, M&Ms, chocolate, and a bunch of other things. They all stayed very late, and we joked around and laughed the entire time because the movies we bought were not interesting movies. It turned out to be a really good weekend. :)

If I could change one thing in the world

If I could change one thing in the world it would be the existence of bullying. This reason is because bulling is such a horrible thing to do to someone and many people have harmed themselves because of how they were treated. No one ever wants to have the feeling of not being good enough. No one wants to get put down constantly for being who they are. After awhile of getting treated a certain way; people start to believe in the names they are being called, which causes them to have a low self-esteem. After being put down so many times people start tend to start putting themselves down too. This leads them to be in a stage of depression.  The victims have to go throw life being unhappy. Bullying normally happens at a young age, so it may cause their childhood to be "ruined". I believe that people should live by the saying "treat people how you want to be treated," because it would start to eliminate bullying, making the world more positive.

Anywhere I could go

If I could go somewhere that I have never been before, I would go to Hawaii. Hawaii seems to be such a beautiful place and it has a warm climate. I have heard of the water being a very clear blue, unlike the water here. While I am there, I would be able to fulfill another goal because I would have a chance to swim with dolphins. I would spend much of my time in the water. I would go surfing, snorkeling, water skiing, and many other water related things. I love fruits, and Hawaii produces many exotic fruits. I would like to try them because the United States does not have as wide of a variety of fruits as Hawaii. Also, I would learn their way of everyday life and their traditions. Going to Hawaii would be a wonderful experience.

Why technology is important

Technology is an important aspect of life because it is such a miraculous invention and it helps in many situations. One way that it helps is by providing an abundant amount of information from, and to, people all around the world. If anyone ever wants to know anything or ask a specific question, they are able to get access to a computer or even a smartphone, to find out the needed information. Another way that it helps is because it is a source to communicate. For example, when my brother attended school in Hong Kong, he was not able to bring a cellular device, however, he was able to bring a laptop, so to keep in touch with his friends and family at home, he used an app called Skype. Skype can travel long distances and is made from technology. Technology gets improved constantly and as it gets improved, tasks may become easier for people all around the world.

If Money Was No Object

If money was not an object, I would start my own competitive cheerleading gym, and open up my own hair salon. I enjoy cheering and doing hair, therefore I would make a career out of my talents. In the cheer gym, I would teach kids what I love to do. I would be able to teach them sportsmanship, confidence, trust, how to tumble, how to stunt, and how to be physically and mentally strong. I would influence society because even the poor would be able to participate. If money was a main goal, many people would not able to do certain sports because it is expensive and they are not able to afford it. If I started a hair salon, it could help people because it is an opportunity for building up people's self-esteem. Making people look and feel better would cause them to view themselves more positively. Also, in my salon I would need employees, so anyone who has a desire to style hair would be able to do it too. If money was not a main goal it would provide more opportunities in the world.

Favorite Hobby

My favorite hobby is competitive cheerleading. My cheer gym is called Fierce Athletics and it is located in Vermillion, Ohio. The reason it is my favorite hobby is because it is a sport that teaches valuable lessons and I think that it is fun. It is something I am good at and that I enjoy doing.
Many people do not believe cheerleading is a sport, but I most defiantly do. This reason is because it takes teamwork, determination, skill, confidence, strength courage, intensity, and pride to walk out on stage, under spotlights, in front of a lot of people. Cheerleaders have to lift people up into the air while they twist their body in pretzel forms and smile at the same time, and then be sure to catch them in the end. It is not like other sports where it it okay if they do not catch what has been thrown in the air, such as baseball or football. If cheerleaders do not catch their flyer, the flyer can end up paralyzed or dead. One simple mistake and it can cause the team to go from first place to last place. The definition of a sport if "an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive mature. Therefore, cheerleading is my favorite SPORT and hobby.
