Trust me

Trust is an important aspect of my life and I encounter it on a daily basis. Because I am in competitive cheerleading, my teammates have to always trust each other for stunts to improve and "hit". In a stunt group there is a back-spot, a man base, a secondary base , and a flyer. The flyer is the person who gets thrown, tossed, or lifted into the air. While in the air, they have certain responsibilities to perform. They have to always stay "tight" or squeeze their muscles, they have to be flexible and pull positions, and whatever they do they have to be on count and in synch with the other flyers and stunt groups. When we learn new skills, the flyers have to perform them even though they could be dangerous and scary. The flyers have to trust the bases and the back-spots to always catch them. Sometimes the flyers become too scared so the rest of the stunt group has to encourage them and let them know that they will be safe and that they can trust their group. After they overcome their fear, they always improve and get better because they know that the people underneath them will always catch them.In the cheer life everyday is a cycle of trust.
